Treatment Approach
During EECP, three sets of pneumatic cuffs are applied to the calves, thighs, and buttocks. Synchronised with the heartbeat via ECG, the cuffs inflate during diastole to increase coronary perfusion pressure and deflate rapidly before systole to reduce cardiac workload. Over 35 one-hour sessions (typically 5 days per week for 7 weeks), the therapy promotes collateral vessel formation and neovascularisation - creating a natural bypass effect. Treatment is completely non-invasive, painless, and can be performed on an outpatient basis.

- 3ECG-synchronised inflation/deflation during 1-hour session
- 435 total sessions over 7 weeks (5 sessions/week)
- 5Mid-therapy and post-therapy cardiac function review
